The short version: if you leave your email on this site, we use it to contact you about your business idea. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising. You can ask us to delete it anytime.
Who we are
Ghost Tongue Consulting is run by Ghost Tongue LLC, a California company. This site is ghosttongue.org. You can reach us at info@ghosttongue.net.
What we collect
When you fill out the form on our site, we collect:
- Your email address
- Your first name, if you give it
- Your business idea, if you describe it
If you become a client, we'll also keep what you share with us during our work together, like notes from our calls and the plan we write for you.
We don't ask for payment details on this site, and we don't collect anything you don't type into the form yourself.
How we use it
- To contact you about your idea and the services you asked about
- To send you a quote and do the work if you hire us
- To follow up if you asked us to
If we ever start a newsletter, we'll ask before adding you to it.
Your idea stays yours
We won't share your business idea with anyone, and we won't use it for our own business. Anything we write for you belongs to you.
Who else handles your information
We use a few outside services to run this site:
- Netlify hosts this site and receives the form you submit. Netlify may also keep basic technical logs, like your IP address and browser type.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts on this site. When the page loads, your browser connects to Google, which can see your IP address.
- Our email provider holds any emails we send or receive with you.
These companies handle data under their own privacy policies. We don't sell or share your information with anyone else, except when the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If we add analytics later, we'll update this page.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we're in touch or working together. If we haven't heard from you in two years, we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we have about you
- Correct it
- Delete it
California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, but we'll honor them for anyone. Email info@ghosttongue.net and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for asking.
Age
This site is meant for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
